Employee Assistance Program Contract
to Deer Oaks EAP Services
Posted January 23, 2012
In our efforts to provide faculty and staff valuable benefits and services, the Division of Human Resources is pleased to announce the renewal of the University's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with a new provider. Effective Feb. 1, Deer Oaks EAP Services will offer this confidential service to benefits-eligible faculty and staff throughout the University system.
This University-funded benefit will continue to provide up to four confidential assessment and short-term counseling sessions per issue per year at no cost to employees and their families. EAP can assist with many different types of problems such as stress, workplace difficulties, substance abuse, and family problems.
Until the new contract takes effect, EAP services will continue to be offered by LifeServices EAP. Deer Oaks is working with LifeServices to ensure a smooth transition so that employees who are currently receiving services will continue receiving assistance without interruption. If you are currently receiving EAP services and have questions, please contact Deer Oaks toll-free at 1-866-327-2400.
