Accounting Concepts

This workshop will offer an explanation of fundamental accounting terms and functions. The instruction will include definitions of elementary accounting terms, such as assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures. It also will cover a general explanation of basic accounting concepts, such as the difference in financial and managerial accounting reports and the difference in cash versus accrual accounting. Come to this workshop and become more comfortable with accounting—the language of business.

USC employees who would like to gain a better understanding of elementary accounting terms and functions.

Participants should arrive to sign-in at 1:15 p.m. Instruction will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Location and Parking
1600 Hampton Street, Suite 101.

Campus parking is available with any faculty/staff decal in the lower lot behind the 1600 Hampton Street Annex. The entrance to the parking lot is between the 1600 Hampton Street tower and the WACH-57 building on Pickens Street.
