Managing Across Generations

Today's workforce is diverse with people from all ages and life stages. Work teams may include up to four generations, each with its own core values about work and success. New workplace dynamics evolve based upon these changes in the workforce. It is important for everyone to recognize, respond to, and resolve differences concerning generational issues when productivity, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are involved.

This program will outline the similarities and differences among work styles and preferences of people from various generations. Participants will learn to understand the perspectives of different generations and use techniques to effectively motivate all team members. Supervisors and managers also will have the opportunity to examine strategies for enhancing collaboration in the workplace among different generational groups.
