Michael Copeland is a financial planner and consultant for Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union. He is a branch manager with Ohio National Financial Services. His office is located at the Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union.

Understanding the Language of Insurance

The language of insurance can be confusing to say the least. Attend this lunchtime workshop so you can effectively communicate with insurance providers and be prepared for those unexpected moments in life. By participating in this program, participants will learn how to:

• understand the different types of insurance such as term, whole life, universal, and variable life insurance
• identify what type of insurance should be used for certain situations
• determine the amount of insurance you may need
• understand how to get the most for your money when buying insurance such as automobile, home owners, and renters.

USC employees who would like to improve their understanding of insurance.

Campus parking is available with any faculty/staff decal in the lower lot behind the 1600 Hampton Street Annex. The entrance to the parking lot is between the 1600 Hampton Street tower and the WACH-57 building on Pickens Street.
