The Student Employment workshop offers instruction in the University's hiring procedures for both graduate and undergraduate students. Participants will learn to use the online Student Employment system. This web-based system allows departments to verify workstudy status, as well as graduate assistantship status. In addition to learning the online hiring system, participants will learn how to change student salaries, adjust funding sources, change ending dates, and terminate students from the Payroll system.
Included in the training will be rules for hiring international students and procedures for using the new E-Verify system.
