General Nature of Work
Directs the design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of complex laboratory equipment; or directs the activities of laboratory technical employees to support academic programs for a major department at a college or university; or oversees the operation of electron microscopes; or performs basic and complex clinical laboratory procedures.
