Employee
Assistance Program
EAP Can Help You
From recurring annoyances to life changing crises, all of us
experience difficulties in our personal lives every now and then.
For employees who need help solving personal or work-related problems,
the University offers an Employee Assistance Program.
Commonly referred to as EAP, this practical and confidential resource
is available to permanent employees and their dependents. The University
has contracted with the LifeServices EAP to provide a statewide program that offers up to four counseling
sessions per issue per year at no cost.
Confidentiality
All EAP benefits are as confidential as the law allows. The University has no need or desire to know who uses these services. The University's EAP provider, LifeServices EAP, does submit statistical reports to the University, but no names or identifying information are ever included in these reports.
Cost
Except for fees associated with the purchase of legal documents, the EAP provides up to four counseling sessions per issue per year at no cost to University faculty, staff and eligible family members.
