define problems, offer counseling services, or make referrals on
matters such as...
- Individual, Couple and Family Issues
- Parent and Child Relationship Issues
- Substance Abuse Issues
- Separation and Divorce Issues
- Single Parent Issues
- Aging Parent Issues
- Depression or Anxiety
- Crisis Situations
- Job Problems

Family Financial Counseling
This benefit offers confidential household money management
services. Whether it is a matter of reorganizing the family budget,
becoming a more informed consumer, or dealing with a financial crisis,
professional counselors are available to assist. A Debt Reduction
Plan is available to help people through financial crises. Repayment
plans acceptable to both clients and creditors can often be negotiated.
Pre-hospitalization Assistance
Most hospital admissions for psychiatric or substance
abuse problems occur during a time of crisis. LifeServices EAP staff is available 24 hours a day to help people in crisis
make informed decisions about treatment options and available resources.
This service does not eliminate the obligation to follow established
pre-certification and hospital admission procedures, however, the
LifeServices EAP staff can assist in these areas.
Eldercare
EAP sessions may be used to access services for eldercare.
These services include assessment of the ability to live independently,
information and referral options, care planning to match needs and
resources, and nursing home advisement.
