Salary Rates
Classified positions are assigned to pay bands that have minimum and maximum rates of pay for each position. Within each pay band, the specific experience requirements of a job may be used to determine a rate of pay for advertising purposes. A salary rate spreadsheet is provided as a PDF document that can be opened and searched for the position about which you need information. The "A" advertising rate represents the minimum salary for each pay band. Each subsequent rate represents a 5 to 20 percent increase over the minimum salary based on increased education or experience requirements in the advertisement of the position. The salary rate (PDF) spreadsheet includes classified position titles with the advertised salary rate, minimum qualifications, band and class code.
