- Flexible Work Schedules
The University of South Carolina allows employees to be flexible with their work schedules, when possible, in order to respond to work-life needs. Approved flexible work schedules must continue to support the operational needs of the department and allow for appropriate oversight of the employee's work. Employees may utilize approved flextime to accommodate a variety of personal needs including family responsibilities, routine health appointments, physical activity and wellness programs, as well as educational and volunteer activities.
